On this page the eCSIRT.net type 1 statistics are shown. These data provide (meta) information about the workload and resources spent by the teams. Related to a single team an average value was calculated for each category of information from the collected data.
The following chart shows the development of the average amount of incoming incident related reports per team. This includes among other things also automatically generated reports (i.e. IDS).
In this chart the average number of analyzed incident reports is shown per team. During the analysis the causes and effects of incidents are examined.
The following chart shows the relation between incoming and analysed reports. This value can be an indicator for the frequency and spreading of certain attack methods.
The following chart shows the average number of systems within the constituency of a single team, which has been attacked in the respective time period.
This chart shows the relation between attacked and involved organizations within the constituency of a team in the respective month.
In this chart the average values for incoming incident related reports and captured incidents (value from type 2 statistics) are compared.
The following chart shows the relation between the average number of captured incidents (value from type 2 statistics) and opened incidents. An opened incident announces activities which are carried out in reaction to an incident (also known as Incident Response).
This chart shows the relation between opened and closed incidents per team in the respective month. According to the definition of an opened incident the completion of the activities is announced by a closed incident.
